Candidates should be there by 2 p.m. Candidates should be accompanied by their Grand Knight or a Council Officer, a complete First Degree Kit and a signed Form 100. Those that do not have a complete First Degree Kit will be provided one for a fee of $5.00.

Councils are to supply membership cards, candidate kit and a white ribbon for each candidate participating.
Dress Code: This is an important step into becoming a Brother Knight, a tie and sports jacket is required by some teams.
INITIATIVES TO HONOR THE POPE
In preparation for Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to the United States in April, the following initiatives are in place:
• All First Degree exemplifications through the end of the 2007-08 fraternal year will be held in honor of Pope Benedict XVI. Candidates
will receive a commemorative certificate.
• Every Knight who proposes a new member between now and April 20 will receive a small medallion with Pope Benedict’s image.
• Every new Knight recruited between now and April 20 will have his name listed in a special book that Supreme Knight Anderson will
present to Pope Benedict.
